Dr. Danaka Bailey, Naturopathic Doctor

Hello, I’m Dr. Danaka Bailey, a Naturopathic Doctor supporting individuals and couples across Alberta in their fertility and family-building journeys, and overall health across the lifespan.

I began my healthcare career as a Registered Nurse after completing my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Western University. During my eight years of practice, I worked with both pediatric and adult patients with acquired brain injuries and also held a leadership role at a homecare company with a focus on sleep health. These experiences shaped my understanding of complex, chronic conditions and the importance of comprehensive care. I was ultimately drawn to a more integrative and systems-based approach to health, which led me to pursue naturopathic medicine at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM).

 

My naturopathic approach is evidence-informed, collaborative, and patient-centred, with a strong emphasis on education and realistic, individualized treatment planning.  My clinical focus includes reproductive health and fertility, as well as general health across the lifespan. I love to support individuals and couples from preconception to parenthood, optimizing foundational health factors to promote long-term wellbeing for the whole family. Beyond fertility and prenatal care, I work with individuals of all ages and enjoy supporting concerns such as sleep, stress, weight management and menopause, and those who simply just want to improve their health! ​

 

My goal is to help patients better understand their bodies, feel supported, and build sustainable strategies that support both immediate concerns and long-term wellbeing.​
